For Prospective International Students
We welcome inquiries from highly motivated international students whose research interests closely match our laboratory.
Before contacting us, please carefully check the following:
- Scholarships and financial support: Applicants are responsible for securing sufficient financial support for tuition and living expenses. Our laboratory cannot guarantee scholarships or prepare individual scholarship applications. Please check scholarship opportunities provided by Nagoya University and other organizations.
- MEXT scholarship: For students planning to enter in 2027, the Embassy Recommendation application has already closed, and Nagoya University does not plan to accept applications through the University Recommendation route.
- Master's program: Applicants should carefully check the language requirements and entrance examination system. Applicants who have limited Japanese proficiency should consider the English-taught G30 International Program.
- Doctoral program: Applicants should have an appropriate master's degree and a clear research plan related to our laboratory's research fields.
- Research students (non-degree students): Our laboratory does not accept new research students.
- Security and compliance: Acceptance of international students is subject to Nagoya University's regulations on security export control and other institutional compliance requirements. Previous affiliations, employment, internships, and research experience may be subject to screening.
- Initial inquiry: Please send your CV, academic transcripts, research interests, desired degree program, intended enrollment date, current affiliation, and information on your financial support or scholarship status.
Please contact us only after confirming that your research interests and preparation match the points above.
